I John Phillip Sousa jr was born December 23, 1974, in Kingston New York. 

 

Music.

 

I have always loved music since I was young. I would listen to my radio and memorize all the lyrics to all my favorite songs almost every day.   Dance music is my favorite.  I started going to clubs when I was 17.  I have always been fascinated by light shows and mirror balls ever since I was a kid.  I would dance for hours on end and never miss a beat. Dancing was something I loved very much and I miss it terribly.  Clubbing in NYC in the 90s was great fun.  I would go out 3 or 4 nights a week. 

 

It has always been my dream to have my own dance tracks and to make people happy working them into a frenzy on the dance floor.

 

I am self-taught in music production.  I'm not perfect but I love doing it. It makes me happy.

 

Painting.

 

I also paint mostly abstract art.  I have been doing it since elementary school. I enjoy painting larger pieces as opposed to small canvases.  I took a lot of art classes in High School. 

 

Disability.

 

This is not easy for me to write about but would like to share a few things about my physical condition.

 

In 1997 when I was 22 I made the mistake of diving into shallow water and as a result, I severed my spinal cord leaving me paralyzed from my chest down.

I am a c 5-6 quadriplegic. I use a motorized wheelchair for mobility. 

 

I make music and use photoshop on my computer using a trackball and a pair of headphones.
